Understanding Pathology

The basic answer is that pathology is the study of disease. We want you to know how things happen at a basic and microscopic level. When you get sick, something is going on inside your body to cause it. No matter how you decide to treat it; what is going on is a real process with real feelings and outcomes. You are our patient even though we may not traditionally see you in an office. Our pathologists study your biopsy on slides or your blood/tissue through a machine or cultures that may be taken during a routine visit.
